Most Keurig brewers can brew 3 sizes of Keurig cups while others have more brewing options.

3-Option Keurig Brewer
These Keurig brewers can brew K-cups in 3 different sizes: 6, 8, and 10 oz. or 8, 10, and 12 oz. cup sizes.
These brewers are perfect if you prefer to have smaller batches of coffee and can’t finish a big cup. With fewer options, you won’t feel overwhelmed by the number of Keurig cup sizes to choose from.
If you prefer your coffee on the stronger side, using a smaller Keurig cup will most likely result in stronger coffee as you will be using less water. Brewing smaller K-cups is also ideal if you can’t finish a large cup and don’t want to waste any precious coffee.

4-option Keurig Brewer
Some days just call for a large cup of coffee and several Keurig brewers can brew 6 oz., 8 oz., 10oz., and 12 oz. cup sizes. You don’t have to buy a separate Keurig machine if you want a 6-ounce cup and a 12-ounce cup.
Some 4-option Keurig brewers are also bigger and can take up more space as they have other features. The bigger Keurig machine can have latte and cappuccino makers which is great if you want to switch things up a bit.
Keurig brewers that have 4 brewing options are the K-Duo, K-Café, K-Select, K-Supreme, and K-Duo Plus.
The Keurig Mini and Keurig Mini Plus only have one brew button but both machines can brew any Keurig cup size between 6 and 12 ounces.
5-option Keurig Brewer
A 5-option Keurig brewer gives you the most options for brewing K-cup pods. Aside from being able to brew 6, 8, 10, or 12 ounces of K-cup pods, you have the option to brew 4 ounces.
With the 4-ounce brew option, you can have a smaller and more concentrated cup of Joe.
If you just want a quick fix and want a small amount of coffee, getting one of these machines will be ideal. You will also be able to offer a variety of Keurig cups if you have guests around.
Keurig brewers that have 5 brewing options are the K-Elite, K-Supreme Plus, and K-Supreme Plus Smart.
Do Keurig Coffee Cups All Have The Same Strength
You might be wondering if the Keurig cups come in different coffee strengths.
While Keurig cups come in five different sizes, the strength of the coffee is not determined just by the size of the Keurig cup.
You can, however, alter the strength of your coffee by choosing a stronger coffee blend and roast level. Some machines also have the option of a “strong” button and let you brew a stronger coffee.
With that being said, if you prefer larger coffee cups (10 oz. or 12 oz.), it may appear to be less strong than brewing an 8-ounce cup. This is because you are using more water to brew large Keurig cup sizes.
You can definitely alter the amount of water you want to use depending on how strong or weak you want your coffee to be.
Playing around your machine’s settings and changing the amount of water you put in each time you brew a cup will let you discover your brewing preferences.
How Do You Choose a Keurig Cup Size?
Choosing the right Keurig cup size will all depend on your personal preference. If you just want a small cup of coffee, choose the smaller K-cups. For a larger cup, 10 ounces and 12 ounces are ideal.
The right size of Keurig cups will also depend on the Keurig model that you have. If you only have the K-classic, it does not make sense to brew a 12-ounce Keurig cup.
