However, the K-Elite’s design has its purpose. Since the K-Elite has more buttons than other Keurigs, it needs to be wide enough to accommodate the control panel. The buttons can be quite confusing at first as some of them are not as straightforward as other buttons.
You’ll actually see cup icons on the K-Elite’s control panels and this represents the options for brewing different cup sizes. The other buttons are more clear in their functions like the “ICED”, “STRONG”, and “HOT WATER”.
The Keurig K-Elite also has a removable large water reservoir that’s why it is bulkier than other single-serve Keurigs. The Design of the K-Elite also allows it to be compatible with all K-cup pods and reusable filters.
If you are not particular about the design and are focused on the functionality of the machine, you definitely wouldn’t mind a bulky K-Elite.
Features
I mentioned earlier that the K-Elite has a large water reservoir. It has a 75-ounce water capacity which means you don’t have to keep on refilling the machine with water each time you brew a cup.
This can save you a lot of time as you can brew up to 8 cups of coffee before you have to refill the reservoir. Of course, this will depend on how much coffee you brew since you don’t just get one cup size for brewing with Keurig machines.
